Menopause is a watershed time; I think all women go through a re-thinking, re-inventing and re-balancing to some degree or another.
While no two journeys are the same, I would like to think that you can use this blog as a place to find a positive action to take (because no matter who you are, what shape you are in or how organised you are, there are going to be times when menopause will test your positivity!) It’s not like it happens in isolation; your life is still unfolding at the same time.
Menopause may be hot on the heels of other health challenges, or in conjunction with emotional challenges. Perhaps you are just really busy and unable to give it the thought or research time that you would like. Maybe you don’t feel ready for this, you are not where you wanted to be in your life. Maybe you still have major outstanding items on the list – like finding your life partner or changing your career.
Perhaps you see a change in your body; the old routines aren’t working anymore, it’s getting harder to keep the weight off and your self-esteem has taken a dive…. you sense it’s time to change something, but what?
